We are putting a call out for ALL VOLUNTEERS in the City of Eagle Lake. We have several areas where there is a great need for volunteers.

Summer Rec Program, Organizing Skate Park Club or Group, Fundraising, Adopt-A-Highway Program, Gardening & Landscaping, Eagle Lake Hometown Festival (June 6th & 7th), Patriotic Celebration (June 28th), Trick or Treat Lane (October 31st), Mistletoe Market Place (December 11-13) and many other areas where your expertise can be put to wonderful use. 

UP COMING EVENTS:

• City of Eagle Lake Patriotic Celebration June 28th from 11am until 9:30 pm - fireworks will begin when night has fallen.
• The City of Eagle Lake will be having the Summer Recreational Program starting June 9th through August 1st, 2008. Please call Robin Golden @ 863-293-4141 if you are interested in having your child in the program, being a Jr. Counselor (starting 9th Grade - 12th), or Volunteering  for the 8 week program.
• The Deadline for Camp Applications has been extended until all spots are filled.  
• We are applying for several Grants to Rebuild our Skate Park in the City of Eagle Lake. We are asking that ANY group that wants to be involved in helping with Fund Raising, Organizing, Planning call Robin @ 293-4141 so we can plan an organizational meeting. THANK YOU!
• The Southwest Florida Management District decided to continue once-a-week lawn water restrictions until June 30, 2008 in the 16-county region that includes Polk.  This was passed November 26, 2007.  Please continue to conserve one of our most precious resources.
